yesterday was a whole day of job interviews. practically went bonkers travelling at light speed. with only a sandwich for fuel. completely crazy. but it was all worth it. i managed to attend all four interviews although not exactly on time for some. but it all went well.
i also got accepted immediately at my last interview. its an engineering company- whoa...finally! i get an engineer job..after almost like one year after graduation(well less than that lah...abt 8 mths counting from my actual graduation ceremony last year July)- as a Software Engineer. for the time being id rather consider myself an apprentice. coz im no experienced worked. i only remembered myself as a super slacker engineering student back in poly who was just fortunated to ace her grades. and then got landed in two wrong jobs for 9 freakin months.
but whatever it is i thank God for this job opportunity. whats even better? its a five-minute walk from my house! cool shit
so i'll be starting tomorrow, 1st March. that makes me exactly 20 days unemployed. ok not so bad. 20 days holiday, one day of job-hunting and i get a job that gets me started possibly the next day. phewh!
anyway yesterday my list of interviews went from
1) Singapore Air Force - Senior Technician
2) Creative Technologies - Customer Care Advisor (contact centre)
3) a recruitment agency that gave me an interview today - female technicians, Changi Airport
4) Kallang Plc - Software Engineer (last minute squeezed in schedule..Nur just smsed me the job opening in the morning..just my luck =D)
my mommy and daddy were happy for me.
my darling baby is also proud of me for being positive but i cdnt have done it especially if he hadnt been there for me. he is my strength.
ok i gtg get ready for my last interview for the season !!!
